At eden, we believe that setting a good example has never been more important.

We recognise the benefits of purchasing home-grown ingredients. In doing so, we aim to build robust, long-term relationships with local communities, and to encourage the supply of fresh, seasonal produce. Over a third of all of the food for one of our contracts, for example, is now sourced from local suppliers and producers, and by local we mean within 25 miles.

In the interest of improving animal welfare, supporting British agriculture, and supplying first class, fully traceable produce, we actively promote the standards espoused by Red Tractor and other like-minded organisations – that promote both high-quality and sustainability.

Oh, and all of our tea, coffee and hot chocolate and most of our delicious fruit juices are now Fairtrade.
