What
can Eden bring to the table?
Operating across a number of business sectors which include:
Colleges, Public Schools, Universities, Single Site LEA Schools and
LEA Consortia, Eden are able to offer a range of flexible service
solutions including:
Quality
At Eden, it is our priority to offer and promote healthy eating for children and young people with a range of tasty menus. We take this responsibility very seriously and employ a Registered Nutritionist who analyses all of our menus and ensures that the meals we provide are packed full of essential nutrients. We also have an ongoing programme of recipe development that ensures our meals meet all of the most recent Government Nutritional Standards.
Our Menus
We offer a menu that has a much higher proportion of fresh fruit and vegetables and is prepared on site, from scratch, every day. The principle goal behind menu development is to provide a variety of freshly prepared, high quality, nutritious dishes that appeal to modern tastes. This applies to every possible choice that can be made by pupils over the menu cycle period.
Financial Savings
Eden can offer financial savings through its purchasing power,
centralised administrative staff and direct operational staff
control.
A range of service offerings
Eden is able to offer a range of service offerings to suit your
individual requirements. These include:
- Full catering management contract
- Part management
- Purchasing contract with competitive pricing and peace of mind
- A simple fixed price contract
- Total Facilities Management contract

Marketing
Eden can provide tailor-made marketing solutions, designed to
promote the catering facility and increase uptake.
Nutritional Standards
Our in-house nutritionist can analyse menus to ensure they are not
only nutritionally balanced but also appeal to the students.
ISO 9001:2000
We operate to the ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance system standard in all our sites. We have maintained accreditation since 1997 with key sites externally audited at least once a year.
Information Technology
Eden can offer a range of cashless systems. These can be used to
reward pupils when they make a healthy choice, gain points, which
can be added to house points or as direct prizes. Parents can
request a list of what their child has chosen for their meals and
where additional money has been spent in the school.
They can be used for purchasing other items i.e. stationery, books,
photocopying and even school trips. There are also uses for security
and the card can be programmed to allow students to access the
school at certain times of the day.
